Meeting with Success
The Harmonie Group holds three meetings a year, usually in January, April, and September. Meetings are attended by Harmonie Group members and their invited clients. Speakers from corporations, third party administrators, as well as the traditional insurance, non-traditional insurance and captive insurance industries discuss their respective organizations, and give insights on how they view the attorney-client relationship.

Attendees of previous conferences have noted the following as benefits they derived from attending:

1. The conference affords the opportunity for open and frank dialogue between executives responsible for selection of counsel and the members of The Harmonie Group.

2. The conference is an opportunity for attendees to learn about litigation and risk management philosophies, strategies, and trends from executives in other companies on a peer to peer level and to share ideas and ask questions of similarly situated executives.

3. The conference is an opportunity to meet the lawyers from The Harmonie Group member firms in a business meeting format and in a number of social gatherings that allow attendees to get to know the attorneys on a more familiar basis.

4. The conference allows for the attendees to learn the experience levels, specialties and expertise of individual lawyers and firms within the Group.

5. You have the opportunity to meet executives from other companies, representing from time to time, corporations, insurance companies, captive insurance companies, risk retention groups, purchasing groups, TPAs and governmental agencies.

6. As participants rather then passive viewers, the conference allows executives to communicate their litigation and risk management needs directly to the members of the Group.

7. The conference allows executives to ask specific questions of attorneys within the group and discuss ongoing cases and related issues of claim management.

8. From time to time, Harmonie members make special presentations on topics of interest to those in attendance.
